NEUTRALIZER BLEND is a blend of Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium oxide. It is used in the pH control of Acidic water. It is designed for use in potable water, and back washing is necessary when using. Using Pro Neutralizer Blend will reduce the potential leaching of copper, lead and other metals found in typical plumbing systems. Periodic backwashing will prevent packing and maintain service rates. Depending on pH, water chemistry and service flow, the bed will have to be periodically replenished as the Pro Neutralizer Blend is depleted. Pro Neutralizer Blend in neutralization application adds some hardness to the water being processed. Therefore, Pro Neutralizer Blend treatment should be applied ahead of water softening.

Applications

First Application: Fill media filter with Pro Neutralizer Blend. Insect periodically and add Pro Neutralizer Blend to bring the bed back up to its original depth.

Preventative Maintenance: Backwashing of the bed will eliminate the finest of dissolved particles, thus preventing considerable pressure loss.

General Purpose: Pro Neutralizer Blend acts as a filter bed for turbidity, a catalyst for iron reduction, and a neutralizer for low-pH water.
